is the CEO of PT. Bakrie Global Ventura, the TMT (Telco-Media-Technology) – focused private equity arm of the Indonesia’s Bakrie family, whose business interests encompass a wide range of industries (telecommunications, media, property, plantations, infrastructure, mining, and oil & gas) and controlled through eleven publicly listed companies.

Mr. BAKRIE is also CEO and President Director of PT Visi Media Asia (‘VIVA’), the leading publicly-listed convergent Infocomm company in South East Asia, with assets ranging from two national terrestrial broadcasting channels, namely News&Sports TVONE and Entertainment ANTV, as well as a leading news portal VIVA.CO.ID.

A philanthropist at heart, he created the Bakrie Center Foundation (BCF) which has set up Chairs at several leading international universities and research institutions as well as offers scholarships to academically gifted Indonesian students. Anindya is Chairman of Indonesia Swimming Federation (PRSI), Vice Chairman on Organization, Membership , Empowerment of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN), Board of Trustees member of Eisenhower Fellowship and sits on the Board the International Council of Harvard University’s Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs.

He is an avid long-distance runner and has been annually joining Bintan Triathlon (combined race of swimming, running and cycling) since 2011.

Mr. Bakrie earned his MBA from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science from Northwestern University.
